Our House Washing Process

Our low pressure (soft washing) cleaning process is safe, very effective and eco-friendly. When we roll up in front of your home you should know that we have the best equipment and absolutely the best detergents and chemicals that money can buy. We carry a wide selection of products and our cleaning mixture will be custom tailored for your particular home. Whether your home is brick, stucco, wood, hardie plank or vinyl, we realize that no two homes are exactly alike, therefore we can and will formulate the right solution for your cleaning needs.

The first thing we do is tape up up any outside electrical connections, door locks and anything else we think may possibly be damaged. Though they are made to withstand the outdoor elements we don’t like taking any chances and we want you to know that your peace of mind is our concern. Plants and landscape features that are sensitive to cleaning agents are rinsed, before, during and after the procedure or covered with plastic, if need be.. Though our mixes will not usually harm any plants, we realize that your landscaping is important to you and thus we will pre-rinse and then post-rinse your plant life again once we’re finished. We may also pre-rinse your windows and in the case of some wood sided homes, we’ll pre-rinse to help make the wood more receptive to our treatment.

Once we have prepped your house for cleaning, we will apply our cleaning mixture, starting with the bottom and working up, with one of our low pressure machines that can reach vertical heights of up to 40-50 feet.This enables us to usually reach even the highest gutters and soffit, without the use of ladders. We generally do one section at a time, let it dwell for 5-10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. In the case of extreme dirt or stains we may need to treat certain areas more than once.

When we’ve finished the entire house we may apply a final rinse product, in the case of vinyl, that will help keep mold and mildew from coming back quickly and also leaves a protective coating that will help your vinyl, similar to a liquid wax treatment at a car wash. Once this is applied then we will rinse your home one more time, along with a final rinse of any landscaping.

We generally always include cleaning your front stoop and steps when cleaning your home. This helps give your home a finished appearance. 

How Often Should I Clean My Home?

The frequency that you have your home cleaned will depend upon your local conditions, amount of tree cover, rainfall, humidity and the direction your home faces. Generally most homes should be cleaned every couple of years. This will help preserve your exterior as well as reducing the need for more expensive services such as painting, as well as slowing the the adverse effects of nature, while at the same time enhancing the livability and preserving the value of your home.
